Every our app has something unique, uncommon and revolutionary. We have several sound-producing engines and lots of other gimmics. Cannot resist thinking up cool names for those babies!
ESFM
The heart of our first app - Noise.io Pro Synth. ESFM stands for Enhanced Subspace (later this was changed to Subtractive) Frequency Modulation. This means that Noise.io is a hybrid FM/subtractive synth with some really new interface elements that make designing of own sounds a breeze.
ioLibrary
Our unique solution for exchanging audio data and files between apps, desktop computer via Wi-Fi and Intua Beatmaker. Recently this technology was expanded and now we are offering ioLibrary SDK for the music app developers.
SoftRibbon
Noise.io Pro Synth has a very original interface concept, every parameter is modified by selecting it and then manipulating the software emulation of the ribbon controller which is always situated under your left thumb. Thus, you can your both hands (left thumb changes the parameter, right hand select the parameter) to edit your Noise.io presets with an astonishing speed.
SampleMagic
Our ultra-flexible sampling engine was first introduced in Star Guitar Pro, then in Star Piano Pro, Star Melody and ultimately JR Hexatone Pro (each time with differences and updates). It provides zero-latency playback latency, instant and smooth pitch changes, loading of user .WAV samples and many more.
Soloist
Soloist is an exclusive feature of Star Guitar Pro and Star Piano Pro. When you select a chord within those apps, the module analyzes it and calculates, which notes will be sounding "in tune" with that chord. Then, you hit the "soloist" ribbon at the bottom of the screen, and get a music note played, always in tune with the chord. Aim left for lower notes, right for higher.
SmartStrumming
Exclusive for Star Guitar Pro, this technology is best described as a "virtual guitarist hand". Since Star Guitar Pro also offers Manual strumming mode (when you just hit the chord and hear it being played), it tries to calculate, where the "hand" is now - below or under the guitar body - and chooses the direction of strumming, changing the character of the sound.
InstandIDM
Exclusive for JR Hexatone Pro, this allows to create breathtaking Aphex Twin-like rhythms in a matter of seconds. You just press the "black hole" in the center of the hex field and wait until it becomes filled with random cell commands, noteon commands and hex probability values. Release when you fell that it's time, repeat to your taste. Change samles (randomize them), sample pitches, speed up the BPM, and enjoy the result!
Destrukto
Destrukto is the name of a special sample effect used in JR Hexatone Pro and is a secret combination of destruction and bitcrushing effects. Available under sample parameters, in the "FX" tab.
